APTA Announces New 2-Day Coding and Reimbursement Seminars 

APTA's Coding, Reimbursement & Practice Applications for Outpatient Rehabilitation Services seminars are back—with a twist. In addition to hearing the most current information on coding and payment, participants will hear from a panel that will discuss the future of coding and payment for physical therapy services. Speakers include Helene Fearon, PT, Steve Levine, PT, DPT, MSHA, and Gayle Lee, JD. Course content covers documentation, compliance issues, Medicare updates, audits and appeals, different compensation models, and much more. The panel discussion will focus on the future of payment for physical therapy and what changes are likely in the next few years. Though the World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT) doesn't offer individual memberships, APTA members are linked to WCPT through the association's membership. This connection gives APTA members an international voice as part of an organization representing more than 300,000 physical therapists worldwide; access to keynote papers, declarations of principle, and position statements; information on events and resources, and the ability to nominate PTs for WCPT's awards program.
