Clinical Education Principles

The Board adopted a new voluntary resource document, Clinical Education Principles, for physical therapist academic and clinical educators that describes new graduate and clinical instructor performance outcomes. This resource document was developed through a consensus-based process and vetted through 15 regional forums cross the United States between September 2008 and October 2009. The Principles reflect a broad consensus of the various stakeholders involved in clinical education with strong support for the new graduate and clinical instructor performance principles. The document is for voluntary use and can be accessed by clicking here.
