Reviewer Subcommittee Application

The Clinical Residency and Fellowship Program Credentialing Committee (Committee) is seeking a cadre of members with diverse clinical expertise to serve on the Reviewer Subcommittee. Reviewer Subcommittee members review written applications and conduct site visits for residency and fellowship programs seeking credentialing from APTA.

Subcommittee members are selected for a term of at least two years, agree to complete training, agree to be available for at least one application review and site visit per year, and agree to maintain currency in residency/fellowship application evaluation. The minimum time requirement for a Subcommittee member to complete an application review varies depending on the complexity of the program application, generally requiring 3-4 hours for the paper review and one day to conduct the site visit.

Qualified candidates have obtained ABPTS specialist certification and/or AAOMPT fellow status, demonstrated clinical expertise, experience in clinical teaching, and the ability to provide objective evaluation.
