Support Foundation Endowment Funds

Physical therapy helps a broad range of patient needs. A gift to any endowment fund below advances research and treatments in that specialty area to help improve a patient's quality of life. Please click one of the links below and select the endowment fund you would like to support from the drop-down designation list when making your donation or pledge.

Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Human Performance Endowment Fund to investigate research topics related to the physical therapy management of cardiovascular and pulmonary disorders, including prevention, fitness and health promotion including funding of the Scot C. Irwin, PT, DPT, CCS, doctoral scholarship. Click for the Promotion of Doctoral Studies (PODS) I & II Scholarships information.
Education Endowment Fund for research in physical therapy education for developing a new generation of physical therapy practitioners.
Section on Geriatrics Fund to evaluate physical therapist interventions for older adults.
Neurology Endowment Fund supports post-professional doctoral scholarships honoring physical therapists, Marylou Barnes, PT, FAPTA, and Patricia Leahy, PT.
Orthopaedic Section Endowment funds research to supply the best evidence to enhance the diagnosis, management, and prevention of musculoskeletal conditions.
Section on Pediatrics Research Grant Fund for the evaluation of physical therapist interventions for children.
The Deusinger Family Endowment Fund will support in perpetuity the most pressing needs of the Foundation as defined by its mission and trustees. Susan Deusinger, PT, PhD, FAPTA, and Robert Deusinger, PT, PhD, urge you to follow their lead by donating as generously as you can to "Destination: Research Excellence" and the endowment established in their name.
The Marilyn Moffat Endowment Fund for Geriatric Research will fund in perpetuity research designed to specifically advance knowledge of physical therapy for older adults. Marilyn Moffat, PT, DPT, PhD, FAPTA, CSCS, urges you to follow her lead by donating as generously as you can to "Destination: Research Excellence" and the endowment established in her name.
The Jayne L Snyder Endowment to support the development of new interventions that will be clinically relevant and therapeutically effective. Jayne L Snyder, PT, DPT, MA, urges you to follow her lead by donating as generously as you can to "Destination: Research Excellence" and the endowment established in her name.
