Original Audio Conference Description:

Enrolling as a physical therapist in private practice or a rehabilitation agency in the Medicare program can seem like a very daunting process. The Medicare program has different enrollment requirements depending on the practice setting. Making mistakes on the enrollment application can lead to delays in enrollment that prevent physical therapists from submitting claims. Figure out how to avoid enrollment pitfalls and ensure your enrollment application is submitted correctly the first time!

Experts Gayle Lee and Mary Daulong walk you through the enrollment process from start to finish. This course is designed to help you determine whether you should enroll as a physical therapist in private practice or rehabilitation agency, provide information regarding NPIs, and assist you with the enrollment process. During the Q & A session following the presentation you may ask your questions directly to the experts.

Upon completion of the audio conference, you will be able to:

  • Decide whether to enroll as a physical therapist in private practice or a rehabilitation agency.
  • Identify which enrollment applications to complete.
  • Prevent common errors on your enrollment application.
  • Determine whether your physical therapists on staff need to obtain an NPI and enroll.
  • Recognize steps to take when your enrollment application is delayed.
  • Understand Medicare's revalidation rules.
  • And much more!
