MEDLINE®
is the largest component of PubMed®,
the National Library of Medicine's (NLM®) database of
biomedical citations and abstracts that is searchable on the Web (http://pubmed.gov) at no cost. The
MEDLINE® database covers from 1966 to the present and is
updated on a daily basis. (OLDMEDLINE
®, a subset of PubMed, contains pre-1966 citations).
MEDLINE® includes more than 14 million citations from
more than 4,800 different biomedical journals, including Physical Therapy: Journal of the
American Physical Therapy Association. APTA members have free
access to Physical Therapy.

articles are available from a variety of sources, including article
