Follow APTA on Twitter
APTA is now on Twitter, the microblogging service that allows
colleagues, friends, and family to stay connected one "tweet" at a
time.
APTA will use Twitter to send updates and links to information that
we think are of value and interest to our members. Further Twitter
initiatives targeting specific audiences or focused on specific events
may be launched in the future as APTA's use of social media evolves.
You can view APTA's Twitter updates anytime at twitter.com/aptatweets.
Also, PTJ, APTA's official, peer-reviewed journal, is on
Twitter at twitter.com/ptjournal.
Twitter 101
Though you can view APTA's Twitter updates just by visiting www.twitter.com/aptatweets, the most effective way
to keep up with APTA on Twitter is to "follow" APTAtweets from your
computer and/or your mobile device (cell phone, iPhone, BlackBerry,
etc.).
Simply create a
Twitter account and opt-in to follow APTA. Register your mobile
device if you'd like messages sent to your phone. Twitter is a free
service, but charges may apply based on your mobile device text
messaging plan. Contact your mobile service provider if you have
questions. You can stop receiving text messages or stop following APTA
on Twitter at any time.
