PT 2006: The Annual Conference and Exposition of the APTA,
June 21, 2006 - June 24, 2006
Abstracts of Papers Accepted and Presented
Message from the Editor in Chief of Physical Therapy:
One of the most important aspects of
Annual Conference is the opportunity for clinicians and researchers to discuss their work with each other and, by doing so, to help bridge the gap between research and
practice. This database contains abstracts of papers accepted for presentation at
PT 2006. They reflect the diversity in our profession, both in research
and practice. I encourage you to look through these abstracts, attend the sessions,
and discuss the work with the presenters.
The presentations at PT 2006 will be made in platform, poster, or multimedia formats.
I congratulate the presenters on their hard work and encourage them to submit manuscripts for potential publication in Physical Therapy or other peer-reviewed journals.
Rebecca L. Craik, PT, PhD, FAPTA
Editor in Chief
Physical Therapy
