Title: Instructional Design Specialist
Department: Professional Development
FLSA Status: Exempt
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS
This position will:
- Be responsible for the design and development of continuing education opportunities in APTA's Learning Center
- Manage course design and development process to create interactive, online learning activities. Collaborate with
subject matter experts to design and deliver content
- Manage course production cycle including the webinar series and partnered development courses
- Research new technologies and learning technology vendors
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in development and design of online continuing education programs
- Master's degree in instructional design/technology or related field or equivalent experience required
- Software knowledge: Adobe PDF; working knowledge of HTML and basic graphic editing skills. MS Office
(Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
