Title: Senior Meetings Coordinator

Department: Meeting Services

FLSA Status: Nonexempt


This position:

  • Assists with the daily operations of the APTA Meeting Services Department and supports the planning and onsite management of APTA's national conferences and regional meetings
  • Plans and executes assigned regional meetings
  • Serves as liaison to designated Sections for the Combined Sections Meeting (CSM)
  • Recruits and manages student volunteer program for the CSM and APTA Conference
  • Compiles history reports for catering, housing, and other logistical meeting elements
  • Processes invoices and assists with annual budget process
  • Monitors and maintains national meeting web and intranet pages; primary respondent to department's general email
  • Assists in the preparation of site visit materials, national conference order forms for staff and all other conference related materials for distribution to attendees and volunteers


  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Meetings management
  • Strong administrative and data management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines
  • Experience in handling sensitive, confidential information
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
