Mailing List Rental: Policies and Rates

Ordering Policies

The APTA "A-List" includes member lists and institution lists. Member lists include names and mailing addresses of APTA members, at either a business or home address, at the members' preference. Institution lists include addresses of PT/PTA accredited educational programs (addressed to "Program Director"). APTA does not offer telephone or fax numbers or e-mail addresses. APTA's Board of Directors adopted a policy in November 2003 that states that e-mail addresses of members shall be used exclusively by APTA for the dissemination of information about association business and activities. Neither national nor components of APTA shall provide members e-mail addresses to any individuals or external organizations except as authorized by the APTA Board of Directors and exclusively for the exchange of information related to Association business and activities.

Requirements:
To place an order, complete, sign, and return the APTA List Rental Order Form and Rental Agreement, as well as a sample mailing piece. A sample must accompany your request; otherwise, the order will not be processed. APTA reserves the right to reject any mail piece that does not conform to the standards, principles, and ethics of the Association.

Limitations:
Lists are rented for one-time use only. APTA takes appropriate precautions to detect unauthorized use. Any reuse, reproduction, redistribution, or recording of the information provided on a list is prohibited and subject to the penalties defined in the Rental Agreement.

Payment Terms:
First-time customers must pay in advance. You may pay by credit card or request an invoice. A signed purchase order must accompany all requests for billing. Net 30 days of invoice receipt. All balances that are past 60 days due will require payment in full before new orders are accepted.

Additional Notes: APTA offers Member and Institution lists. Please note that these lists are considered separate orders and will be processed and billed separately.

Other Pricing Information:

  • Virginia residents add 4.5% state sales tax.
  • A 15% discount is available to all recognized list brokers. (A recognized broker is defined as a company whose sole activity is to purchase mailing lists for their active clients.)
  • Unlimited annual use is not available. Call for information on quantity discounts.

Shipping & Handling
An order is not considered submitted until all required items are received. For Overnight deliveries, allow 4 business days from date of receipt of order (must include order form, rental agreement, and sample mail pieces). For 2-day, allow 5 business days. Overnight and 2-day orders must be received by 11 am.
