APTA signed a contract with Academic Software Plus LLC to create a new technology solution known as the Clinical Site Information Form Web (CSIF Web), which will enable clinical sites to maintain their site information, students to view and search affiliated clinical sites, and academic programs to view, search, and export affiliated clinical site data for further analysis. CSIF Web will be compatible with PT CPI Web and PTA CPI Web, available through Academic Software Plus. Academic Software Plus will provide a comprehensive solution that includes development, implementation, training, ongoing evaluation, and technical customer service for registered PT and PTA programs and their affiliated clinical sites that use CSIF Web.
CSIF Web will enable clinical sites to easily maintain their site information by completing the form only once, in a central database, and will be accessible by all registered academic programs with whom they affiliate. Clinical sites will be able to efficiently update their CSIF information for PT and PTA students using CPI Web. Students will be able to view and search affiliated clinical site information when preparing for site selection and placement. Academic programs will be able to view, search, and export their clinical site information for further analysis. CSIF Web is anticipated for release in the third quarter of 2011.
