• Attendance at CSM 2016 is worth up to 1.9 CEUs (19 contact hours/CCUs). The number of CEUs awarded for each session will be listed in the onsite program.

    APTA provides an electronic system of badge scanning to verify attendance to educational sessions. Please have your badge scanned upon entrance to each education session. If you change sessions, the last session scanned during a given time block will be the only session recorded.

    Your session transcript and CEU letter of participation will be available in the APTA Learning Center through 2019. Click on My Courses to claim your CEU credit and download your letter and transcript. CEUs will be available in March 2016.

    Preconference Course Certificates

    Preconference CEU certificates are accessible in the APTA Learning Center. In order to earn CEUs for the preconference course, participants must pass a multiple-choice assessment with a score of 70% or better. The preconference assessment can be accessed at the conclusion of CSM in the APTA Learning Center.

    The number of CEUs awarded for each preconference session is listed in the online programming descriptions.

    To access your assessment and certificate, follow these easy steps:

    1. Go to APTA's Learning Center and login. Enter your email, member number or user ID. Use the "forgot your password" link if you need to reset your password.
    2. Click on the "My Learning Activities/My Courses" tab in the top navigation menu, and find your preconference course.
    3. Click "Start" next to the course title. Follow the directions to take the assessment and print your CEU certificate.

    More than 40 licensure agencies for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants have licensure renewal requirements that include completion of continuing education or continuing competence activities.     APTA courses are accepted in all states plus the District of Columbia, as allowed by the type of course requirements in state regulations. A small number of states require APTA to seek pre-approval of courses. APTA seeks these approvals and lists any relevant approval codes on the certificate of completion.
