Attendance at CSM 2017 is worth up to 1.9 CEUs (19 contact hours/CCUs). TThe number of CEUs awarded for each educational session will be listed in the mobile app.
APTA provides a badge scanning electronic system to verify attendance in educational sessions. Please have your badge scanned upon entrance to each education session. If you change sessions, the last session scanned during a given time block will be the only one recorded. Attending education sessions is required to earn CEUs.
Your session transcript and CEU certificate will be available in the APTA Learning Center at: http://learningcenter.apta.org through 2021. Click on My Transcripts/My Course Transcripts to claim your CEU credit and download your certificate and transcript. CEUs will be available by the end of March 2017.
Preconference CEU certificates are accessible in the APTA Learning Center. In order to earn CEUs for the preconference course, participants must pass a multiple-choice assessment with a score of 70% or better. The preconference assessment can be accessed at the conclusion of CSM in the APTA Learning Center.

More than 40 licensure agencies for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants have licensure renewal requirements that include completion of continuing education or continuing competence activities. For specific information related to your licensure requirements please see www.apta.org/Licensure and click on Practice Acts by State or contact your state's licensure board.
APTA courses are accepted in all states plus the District of Columbia, as allowed by the type of course requirements in state regulations. A small number of states require APTA to seek pre-approval of courses. APTA seeks these approvals and lists any relevant approval codes on the certificate of completion.
Athletic trainers: CSM or preconference CEUs are acceptable for Category D – Non Approved Provider credits with the Board of Certification (BOC) of the National Athletic Trainers Association.
