The following housing and travel information applies to APTA's 2013 Conference, House of Delegates, and Capitol Hill Day.
Housing
APTA's official housing bureau for Conference 2013 is J. Spargo & Associates.
Please be aware that neither APTA nor J. Spargo & Associates will solicit you directly to make your conference hotel reservations. APTA would like to alert exhibitors and attendees that they may be subjected to solicitations from hotels or third-party housing agencies that have no affiliation with APTA. These agencies may offer a lower rate than the official block rate. However, cancellation polices may be unforgiving or nonexistent and should you need assistance with your reservation, you would not receive service from APTA's housing agency.
APTA is committed to providing a high quality housing experience for its exhibitors and attendees and contracts for a room block to secure those housing needs. To support APTA and its efforts, we encourage you to book your housing accommodations using APTA's official housing vendor, J. Spargo & Associates by June 5, 2013. Rail Travel
The Salt Lake City depot is located less than 1 mile from the Salt Lake Palace Convention Center and surrounding hotels. Amtrak offers a 10% discount off the best available rail fare to Salt Lake City between June 22 and July 3, 2013. To book your reservation call Amtrak at 800/872-7245 or contact your local travel agent. Conventions cannot be booked via Internet. Please be sure to refer to Convention Fare Code X80M-963 when making your reservation. This offer is not valid on the Auto Train and Acela Service and is subject to other restrictions.
