Description: Life-threatening and end-of-life conditions are challenging to physical therapists in any setting: acute care, rehab, outpatient clinic, home health, or hospice. A life-limiting condition significantly influences the way we approach care to these patients. This session will focus on recognizing these cases and resolving the concerns and dilemmas along the spectrum of palliative care through hospice to the end of life. The presenters will discuss practical clinical and organizational issues and provide a variety of professional resources.
