Description: Although participation in the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) is currently voluntary, eligible physical therapists (PTs) who do not satisfactorily report data on quality measures for the reporting period between January 1, 2013, and December 31, 2013, will be subject to a 1.5% reduction in their fee schedule amount in 2015.

In fact, PTs that bill Medicare for outpatient physical therapy services in private practice settings (using the 1500 claim form or 837-P) can obtain a 0.5% bonus payment in 2013 if they report on quality measures under the PQRS program.

Join Heather Smith, PT, MPH, to find out what you need to know about PQRS in time for 2013. Discover which changes will directly impact PTs, take away practical approaches to help you avoid common missteps, and simplify participation efforts. You’ll also benefit from a dynamic Q&A session to address live attendees' questions and concerns.
