Conference Scholarships for Physical Therapist Students
Kaiser Permanente's physical therapy education programs are dedicated to enriching the learning experience for future practitioners and are pleased to announce Conference Scholarships for physical therapist (PT) students for APTA's 2013 Combined Sections Meeting.
The scholarships, sponsored by the Kaiser Permanente Hayward PT Fellowship, Institute for the Advancement of Orthopedic Physical Therapy – the Kaiser Hayward PT Fellowship alumni group, and Kaiser Permanente Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency in the San Francisco Bay Area, will cover early bird student conference registration and provide $500 for travel, lodging, and meal expenses.
Three scholarships for the APTA Combined Sections Meeting being held in January 21-24, 2013, in San Diego will be awarded to APTA student members. The deadline to apply for this scholarship has past. Check back next year for information to apply for this scholarship in 2013.
Eligibility
Applicants must be:
- APTA members;
- a second or third year physical therapist student at the time of the conference; and
- interested in pursuing a career in orthopedic, neurologic, geriatric, or sports physical therapy.
