Federal Advocacy Forum 2013: Additional Information

Dress Code

The dress code for the Federal Advocacy Forum is professional for all programming and for Tuesday's visits to members of Congress. The PT-PAC late night is casual.

Key Items to Remember

Bringing your business cards to leave with Congressional staff is essential. APTA will provide materials on the issues we will be lobbying on to leave with the members of Congress or their staff.

Weather

Like politics, the weather in Washington is always unpredictable. The average high for late April is 69 degrees, with an average low of 49 degrees. Please be prepared for rain with an umbrella and rain jacket. Check the forecast for Washington, DC.

Social Media

Share your experience on Capitol Hill on Twitter using the #PTAdvocacy hashtag. It’s a great way to show advocacy in action and inspire your peers to follow your lead.
