APTA has launched the Integrity in Practice Campaign, a comprehensive, multi-year initiative to position the profession as a leader and partner in the effort to eliminate fraud, abuse, and waste from health care; strengthen the good reputation of physical therapy in the health care system, and address fraud, abuse, and waste.
The campaign will highlight the profession's hard-earned reputation for excellence and outline the work needed to honor and protect it. In addition, the campaign will help physical therapists navigate complex regulations and payment systems by making tools and resources available to encourage and promote evidence-based practice; ethics; professionalism; prevention of fraud, abuse, and waste; and more.
APTA will seek out partners (other health care associations and stakeholders) to join this important effort and to work together on advocacy, sharing resources, and potential joint development of educational offerings.
