APTA.org passwords must be at least six characters in length.* Logins and passwords are case-sensitive.
APTA Members: Unless you have changed your default login information in your Profile, your "User ID" is your membership number and your last name is your password.*
Nonmember Registered Users: Unless you have changed your default login information in your Profile, your "User ID" is the email address you used when creating your APTA.org account and your last name is your password.*
*If your last name has fewer than six characters, your password is your first and last name combined without spaces (example: janedoe). If your first and last name combined have fewer than six characters, zeros will be added to the front of your combined first and last name until a six-character password has been reached (example: 0jandoe).
Passwords cannot contain certain characters If your last name has an apostrophe or single quote, try entering your last name without that character and without a space (Correct: DiJarmon Incorrect: Di'Jarmon). Other characters not accepted in passwords are:
- Single quote (')
- Double quote (")
- Pound sign (#)
