The "movement system" represents the collection of systems (cardiovascular, pulmonary, endocrine, integumentary, nervous, and musculoskeletal) that interact to move the body or its component parts. (Learn more about the movement system.)
As part of a comprehensive plan to integrate the movement system within practice, education, and research, the Movement System Task Force identified the need to develop movement system diagnoses and a movement screen.
