Former Board of Directors Member and Section Leader Jane Walter Venzke Dies
Jane Walter Venzke, PT, EdD, FAPTA, age 66, of Concord, New Hampshire, died October 8 after a long illness.
Venzke was a long-time member of APTA and served as president of the New Hampshire Chapter and the Education Section. She also served on APTA's Board of Directors, including as vice president. In 1981 she was appointed by President Reagan to the White House Conference on Aging and to membership of the National Arthritis Advisory Board. Venzke credited these 2 national appointments as her introduction to the politics of public policy.
