Friday, October 21, 2011 Foundation and Students Seen on NBC Today Show To help celebrate National Physical Therapy Month, Foundation Trustee Marilyn Moffat, PT, DPT, PhD, FAPTA, CSCS, and some of her New York University (NYU) physical therapy students made a brief appearance on NBC's Today show October 5. The group was easily recognizable by banners promoting the Foundation for Physical Therapy and the bright green shirts that flanked the outdoor area of NBC studios in mid-town Manhattan. Today show weatherman and feature anchor Al Roker pointed out the group, referenced the Foundation by name, and indicated that he was a fan of the profession himself by commenting "always love the physical therapists!" Other NYU students of Moffat's also were spotted outside the studios of ABC's Good Morning America in Times Square. Moffat and her students outside NBC's Today show with Al Roker.
