New Resource Describes PTA Actions That Express Values

"Values-based Behaviors for the PTA" provides guidance and examples of how values might be expressed in the clinical setting by the physical therapist assistant (PTA) and is available for use by stakeholders, including PTA educators, PTAs, and physical therapists. This new resource was prepared by the Advisory Panel of PTAs and reviewed by stakeholders in the context of Professionalism in Physical Therapy: Core Values and other APTA documents to ensure consistency with association documents, policies, and positions. This document eliminates the need to create individualized adaptations of the Core Values document to meet the specific needs of PTAs.
