I have taught at the Universidad Mariano Galvez in Guatemala City in March 2011 as part of a medical outreach trip with Guatemala Healing Hands Foundation. (In fact, for the first that we are aware, this university hosted all PTs schools in Guatamala for one of our afternoon sessions) The faculty and Dean are welcoming, as are the enthusiastic group of students. We (GHHF) have also had their students and faculty attend a yearly seminar when we are in Guatemala City. Samuel Valesquez, a fisioterapista on faculty has been spearheading such effort with his colleagues at the university. There are some links to therapy in Guatemala on my practice's web site.
