Move Forward Ads to Air on Sirius/XM Radio During October

Move Forward ads will run on select channels on Sirius/XM satellite radio during the weeks of October 3 and October 10. The 30-second spots highlight ways in which a physical therapist can help alleviate pain and restore and improve mobility, and encourage consumers to visit www.moveforwardpt.com to learn more and find a PT. The ads will run numerous times each week during Sirius/XM Stars (Rosie O'Donnell, Barbara Walters, Dr Laura, Deepak Chopra, etc), CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, Oprah Radio, and Martha Stewart Living. Channels were chosen for ability to reach baby boomers, a key target market for APTA's branding campaign. Click on the following links to listen to ad 1 and ad 2.

Love the adds. I wish you could have them on Doctor radio (sirius 81). There are often topics on the shows which are directly related to PT issues. Listeners are a health conscious bunch but may be more familiar only with doctors.

Ads are pretty basic, didn't really grab my attention too much. They feature mainly Outpatient type services of a Physical Therapists. That is only one arena we work in. Broaden the outlook!!

I like the 2nd ad but not the 1st. Having these ads run on Sirius/XM (I own stock) is a great move but I believe that the choice of channels is a mistake. The reality is that 90% of the subscribers listen to the Howard Stern show and not much else. The Dr. Laura show I'll give you because this may reach many women who are the primary deciders for family's health care needs.
