Thursday, April 18, 2013 Move Forward Radio Recognizes Parkinson Disease Awareness Month Move Forward Radio talked to Terry Ellis, PT, PhD, NCS, today about the benefits of physical therapy for those with Parkinson disease (PD). April is the National Parkinson Foundation's Parkinson Awareness Month. In support of the show, APTA issued a press release and promoted MoveForwardPT.com's Physical Therapist's Guide to Parkinson Disease via social media. Move Forward Radio airs approximately twice a month.
