The 9 Areas of Most Interest for WCPT Congress in 2015

If you're considering presenting a focused symposium at the 2015 World Confederation of Physical Therapy (WCPT) Congress in Singapore, look to these 9 topics that the International Scientific Committee is most interested in:

    • Emerging therapies
    • Innovation in delivery of high-quality, cost-effective services
    • Exercise for populations, patients, and clients
    • New educational strategies
    • Lifespan approaches to health promotion and disease and disability prevention
    • Professional leadership, strategy, and policy development
    • Topics that cross populations, specialties, services, or settings
    • Human movement analysis
    • Individualized program planning

The Congress will be held May 1-4, 2015, and the deadline for focused symposia submissions is September 30, 2013. See the Call for Focused Symposia for details. A general call for abstracts for platform and poster presentations will go out January 2014, with a tentative deadline of August 15, 2014.

    Comments

Please note: WCPT congresses are for all physical therapists in all areas of practice so proposals for focused symposia on any topic are welcome. There is still time to put together your proposal. We hope that you have put the Congress dates in your calendars and are planning your trip to Singapore.
