Section of the Month (June 2016): Section on Women's Health
Each month we profile one of APTA's 18 sections:
Women's Health Section ... From a Student's Perspective:
The Section on Women's Health is a rapidly growing field of physical therapy dedicated to the improvement of women's and men's health on a global level. While specialization in women's health physical therapy is a rewarding and fundamental career path, knowledge of women's and pelvic health is applicable to a variety of physical therapy settings. The Section on Women's Health Student Special Interest Group is active in spreading information and awareness about this unique branch of physical therapy and is committed to developing leadership.
Student membership costs $25
