Welcome to APTA's first centralized application system for residency and fellowship programs. The system is called RF-PTCAS and is being administered through the same vendor that oversees PTCAS for entry-level physical therapy education as well as for the residency and fellowship programs for many other health organizations. Applicants to residency and fellowship programs will have the ability to complete one comprehensive application and submit to the program(s) of their choosing while at the same time allowing residency and fellowship programs the flexibility to customize program-specific requirements. This is a free service being provided to our programs and they will find numerous benefits to this system. A few examples of those benefits are:
Pursuant to the ABPTRFE Rules of Practice and Procedure, those programs applying for initial accreditation on or after January 1, 2014 will be required to use RF-PTCAS. Should you have any questions regarding this system please contact APTA staff at firstname.lastname@example.org or 703/706-3152.
Review benefits RF-PTCAS brings to applicants, programs, and the profession.
WebAdMIT is admission-management software for higher learning in graduate and health programs. For physical therapist residency and fellowship programs that will be participating in RF-PTCAS, WebAdMIT is the admission management software you will use.
