    Residency Competency Instrument Open Forum

Thursday, February 18 (7:00 am to 8:00 am)
Anaheim Convention Center Room 210D (room subject to change/confirm location onsite)

During 2015, the Residency Competency Work Group of ABPTRFE has worked diligently to create a draft version of a residency performance instrument with associated competencies, critical behaviors/benchmarks, rating scale, expected level of performance for passing criteria, and early warning notation to inform the resident where expected level of performance is not being achieved.

We need your assistance in helping us to make this instrument functional and useful for all those involved in its future use! The initial draft version of the residency competency instrument will be presented to during an Open Forum at CSM for feedback from interested stakeholders.

Additional opportunities for feedback on this draft instrument will be provided following CSM through the ABPTRFE website as well as at APTA's 2016 NEXT Conference and Exhibition.  Revisions to the draft instrument will occur during the first 6 months of 2016 in preparation for psychometric testing of the instrument in 2017.
