APTA's State Legislative Leadership Award was established in 1993. This award recognizes the work of an individual APTA member on behalf of a component's state legislative efforts in a given year.
Nominations for the 2013 award are now closed, and the recipient will be determined by the APTA Board of Directors in September.
This year's recipient will be invited to attend the 2013 APTA State Policy & Payment Forum to be held in Omaha, Nebraska, September 15 - 17, with expenses paid by APTA. The award will be presented at the Forum during a reception in the recipient's honor. The recipient will also receive recognition on the APTA website, as well as in PT in Motion and PT in Motion: News Now.
