State Policy & Payment Forum

The 2015 State Policy & Payment Forum is being held September 19-21, 2015, at the Grand Hyatt in Denver, Colorado.


About the Forum

This event is designed to increase your involvement in, and knowledge of state legislative issues that have an impact on the practice and payment of physical therapy, and to improve your advocacy efforts at the state level. Programming will focus on physical therapy payment & legislative issues at the state level and will include presentations on state scope of practice issues, payment issues, state legislative advocacy, Medicaid, infringement challenges, effective legislative testifying, state licensure issues, and much more!

You will hear from influential public policy makers and other physical therapy advocates; collaborate with colleagues in developing your chapter or section's advocacy efforts; and network with other professionals from across the country. Chapter presidents, legislative chairs, reimbursement chairs, chapter executives, lobbyists, students, and anyone interested in state-level advocacy should attend!

Note: This event is open only to APTA members and invited guests.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Registration fees will be refunded, minus a $60 processing fee, if a cancellation request is emailed to or made by phone to 800/999-2782 (M–F, 8:30 am–6:00 pm ET) on or before August 19, 2015. After August 19, 2015, no refunds will be granted. No refunds will be made during or after the event or for no-shows. APTA reserves the right to cancel any program and assumes no responsibility for personal expenses.


1.5 CEUs (15 contact hours): Full 3-Day Attendance
(Must attend all programming Saturday, September 19 - Monday, September 21)

1.2 CEUs (12 contact hours): Weekend Attendance
(Must attend all programming Saturday, September 19 & Sunday, September 20)

Note: Participants must sign the daily CEU sign-in sheet each day to be eligible for CEUs.
