We want YOU for the Student Advocacy Challenge! Students from academic programs across the country compete by participating in advocacy activities, documenting their experiences, and submitting the records to the APTA Government Affairs department. As PT and PTA students, involvement in advocacy is important. You will learn firsthand about the legislative processes that directly impact the issues facing physical therapy in the legislature.
Read below to learn how you and your PT/PTA Program can get involved and make a difference for our profession! Don't forget to report your advocacy efforts in order to get credit for your PT program.
Click here for a flyer on the qualifying advocacy activities and how points are tallied. The Student Advocacy Challenge runs from October to October each year, so get started today!
Thank you for your support in our advocacy efforts. Your voice matters for the physical therapy profession and your future depends on it!
