President Ward on the Clinical Doctorate

APTA President R. Scott Ward, PT, PhD, appears in the September 8 issue of The Chronicle Review, a daily online publication for college and university faculty members and administrators. In a letter to the editor, Ward responds to the move among health care professions to the clinical doctorate and explains that although there have been challenges transitioning to the clinical doctorate, "our desire to provide evidence-based care to produce the best outcomes for patients motivates us to overcome these challenges."
