PT Day on Capitol Hill

Capitol Hill Day 2015 - 250x297

This year, APTA's annual Federal Advocacy Forum is replaced by PT Day on Capitol Hill.

APTA will send more than 1,000 physical therapists (PTs), physical therapist assistants (PTAs), and students to Capitol Hill on June 4 (after mandatory training on June 3).

Attendees will rally by the Capitol and then have scheduled meetings with their elected representatives in Congress.

PT Day on Capitol Hill is a special opportunity to advocate for the physical therapy profession and the patients it serves!

*Capitol Steps: "The Lighter Side of Politics"

Over 30 years ago, the Capitol Steps began as a group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people and places that employed them. Since they began, the Capitol Steps has recorded over 34 albums, including its latest, How to Succeed in Congress Without Really Lying. The group has been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS, and can be heard twice a year on National Public Radio stations nationwide during their Politics Takes a Holiday radio specials.

Tickets to the Capitol Steps are $40 per person. (Eagle club donors and above receive a free ticket to this event.) Register for this event when you register for PT Day on Capitol Hill.
