The Strategic Thinking and Planning (STP) Initiative (www.apta.org/stp) is designed to enhance APTA's ability to think and plan in a more strategic fashion. The STP Initiative includes three major components:

1. Development of a comprehensive strategic plan NEW!,

2. A review of APTA's governance system, and

3. Board and staff development.
