Once again, the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is proposing significant cuts to the 2023 Medicare physician fee schedule; and once again, APTA, scores of other organizations, and their members and supporters are pushing back.
This time around, however, things are different. In addition to the proposed cuts, CMS is also asking for more feedback from providers — and emphasizing the importance of provider voices and perspectives through more focus on individual letters. APTA has responded by providing resources and guidance on how to write a comment letter to CMS. (Hint: It's easier than you think — but don't miss the Sept. 6 deadline.)
