Steve Postal was a senior regulatory affairs specialist at APTA until March 2022.

His areas of expertise include telehealth, administrative burden, LCDs/NCDs, and postacute care. Before joining the association in 2019, he was a senior director of state policy for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, focusing on legislative and regulatory policy development.

Prior to that, he was the director of health policy at law firm Powers Pyles Sutter & Verville. Previous positions also include director of the Medicaid Resource Center at the National Association for Home Care & Hospice, contracts and grants specialist in clinical research administration for MedStar Health, and associate at the Maryland Office of the Attorney General.

He received his bachelor’s degree in history from Bowdoin College and his law degree with a concentration in health law from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia bars.
