Ready to grow your leadership skills? APTA is collaborating with the American College of Healthcare Executives on a special offer to help you do just that.

Through Sept. 12, APTA will assist up to 100 of our members in joining ACHE by covering 50% of those members’ first-year ACHE dues, reducing the cost from $160 to $80. (ACHE’s full membership dues are $345, which take effect in the sixth year of membership or when you earn fellow status.)

ACHE's mission — to advance their members and health care leadership excellence and be the preeminent professional society for leaders dedicated to improving health — complements APTA's transformative vision for the physical therapy profession.

Eligibility requirements for ACHE membership are a bachelor's degree and interest in or a commitment to the profession of health care management.

To take advantage of this limited offer for 50% off first-year ACHE dues, fill out this online form by Sept. 12. If you are among the first 100, APTA will follow up with instructions to activate your discounted membership, which will begin in October and extend through all of 2023. This offer is not available to current ACHE members.

ACHE members can become a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives through a certification process. Benefits of ACHE membership also include complimentary subscriptions to ACHE's Healthcare Executive magazine and either the Journal of Healthcare Management or Frontiers of Health Services Management.

"APTA’s collaboration with ACHE is about developing the leadership skills of those who want to move our profession forward," said APTA CEO Justin Moore, PT, DPT. “Participation in ACHE is a great way to strengthen our community while gaining expertise and insight.”

For those who take advantage of this offer, ACHE will create an automated, personalized onboarding and engagement experience that is tailored to support each person's professional development needs and goals throughout their first year of ACHE membership.
