Description
The APTA Frontiers in Rehabilitation Science and Research and Technology (FiRST) Council is a community for stakeholders who have a special interest in promoting scientific and technological innovation in rehabilitation and movement sciences and in leveraging scientific and technological discoveries to advance physical therapist practice, education, and research.
This council is seeking a chair to serve a one year term. The group will also consist of a five member steering group.
This council is seeking five steering group members to serve a one year term. One steering group member will be selected to represent each of the following content areas:

Responsibilities of the Chair Position
- Lead steering group meetings and council meetings [up to 2 in-person meetings per year, up to 6 full council virtual meetings, and up to 12 council steering group virtual meetings]
- Support efforts to foster council member driven communication and networking
This appointment is for a one-year term starting on January 1, 2022.
