Our association is led by the service of our member leaders.

APTA is led by a national Board of Directors, which is elected by the House of Delegates, a policy-making body made up of APTA members from across the country.

The Board establishes APTA’s national strategic plan, which supports our mission and vision statements.

APTA’s federated model includes components: 51 state chapters and 18 special-interest sections, plus a PTA caucus and student assembly, which have their own leadership.
