Despite strong advocacy from APTA and a host of other patient and provider organizations, as well as harsh criticism within Congress' own ranks, lawmakers have not addressed the 3.4% reduction in the fee schedule’s conversion factor that is used to determine payment. The next opportunity to include it in legislation is in March.
