Know Before You Go

Know what to expect before your visit to the APTA Payment Advocacy Summit, July 10-11, at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon. Expand each section below for details on registration, travel, and on-site logistics.

Pick up your badge and welcome bag at registration, located in the Exhibit Hall A Foyer of the Oregon Convention Center. All participants must be registered for the APTA Payment Advocacy Summit and wear an attendee badge. On-site registration will not be available.

Pickup hours:

  • Thursday, July 9: 1-7 p.m. PT
  • Friday, July 10: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. PT

Portland International Airport (PDX) is about 8 miles from downtown Portland, roughly 15-30 minutes from the host hotels, depending on traffic. Visit the PDX website for ground transportation options.

Complimentary Wi-Fi will be available during the event.

Business casual attire is recommended. Meeting room temperatures may vary, so you may wish to bring a light sweater or wrap.

Lunch will be provided both days, with a continental breakfast on Saturday morning. If you have dietary restrictions or a food allergy, email advocacy@apta.org.

Continuing education units (CEUs) will be available for this event. Scan your badge each day at the stations located at the registration desk and outside the session rooms to receive credit.

APTA is hosting a book drive to support Portland's Children's Book Bank at SMART Reading. Consider bringing a new or gently used children's book to donate. The donation station is in the Exhibit Hall A Foyer, across from Registration.
