From receiving the words "You have been dismissed from the physical therapy program" to "Aloha, we would like to offer you the physical therapy position," the trajectory of my journey astounds me. As a girl from South Carolina, the notion of one day living and working as a a physical therapist in Hawaii seemed like a distant dream, akin to paradise. Yet here I am, in these beautiful islands, living my life to the fullest as a pediatric physical therapist. The breathtaking clear blue waters and warm weather are what I enjoy most about island living.
