A health care model that gained popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic has found a permanent place at some organizations.
Christopher Wagner, PT, DPT, an acute care physical therapist at a Level I trauma center, is well-versed in treating critically ill and injured patients. Recently, however, his role at Tampa General Hospital has undergone significant changes. Instead of treating patients in their hospital rooms, he now delivers physical therapist services directly in their homes.
