If you ever find yourself in Portland, Oregon, go ahead: hit all the hot spots. You'll find Washington Park, Powell's City of Books, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry … you could even catch the Portland Timbers of Major League Soccer, or the Portland Trail Blazers of the NBA.

When you're through, though, and you could just use some down time, try this on for size: Oregon Pub Night, a monthly event coordinated by the Oregon Physical Therapy Association, the Oregon Chapter of APTA. The chapter bills the events, held concurrently in 10 cities across the state, as a "gathering of physical therapy colleagues, brought together for face-to-face conversation to share perspectives and form relationships that enhance the professional life of every person who attends."
