Here's another item to add to the repertoire of the physical therapist (PT) of the future: Spock-like mind-meld capabilities.
According to a recent article in Singularity, researchers from Duke University are beginning to make inroads on a project they think will one day allow the brainwaves of a PT to help a motor-impaired patient develop the brain signals necessary for recovery, all through a "Brainet" system that connects the 2 individuals.
