Ash James, director of practice and development at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy in the United Kingdom, joins APTA Vice President of Strategic Affairs Drew Contreras, PT, DPT, for a conversation on how artificial intelligence is shaping physical therapist practice — and how it could continue to evolve in the future. James shares lessons learned from the creation of CSP's AI principles, as well as tips for clinicians trying to navigate AI, whether they are new or experienced users.

Ash James is director of practice and development at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, where he oversees PT practice, research and development, and workforce and education. James is a PT with more than 15 years of clinical, educational, and leadership experience across different environments.

Drew Contreras, PT, DPT, is a board-certified clinical specialist in sports physical therapy and APTA's vice president of strategic affairs. A decorated U.S. Army veteran with more than 25 years of experience, he has served on numerous professional boards.

Alicia Hosmer is senior director of brand strategy and communications at APTA and has over 20 years of experience leading brand and growth initiatives for associations.
