Did you see that?

Probably not—at least not in the way you could have seen it.

Last month, I wrote in this space about the importance of clarifying one's personal vision. This time, let's shift that a few degrees and consider one's personal "sight"—a completely different yet potentially connected concept.

As I'm typing this column, I'm sitting on an airplane on my way to Cincinnati to give a keynote presentation. The flight was delayed 2 hours. The boarding gate changed. We loaded onto a plane after the first delay, only to be deplaned and moved to another plane on the other end of the concourse.
